The estate is seclude and private, perfect retreat with all modern amenities for family vacation. Only 20 minutes from Kona Airport, Costco, grocery stores, breathtaking resort beaches, and beautiful Kailua Bay, site of the world-famous Kona IronMan. The farm has abundant avocados, citrus, pineapples, lychees, rambutan, bananas, papaya and of course, more than 2,400 coffee trees. The estate is ideally located at the cool elevation of 1,600 ft above sea level where air conditioner is not necessary, cool mountain air at night and breezy ocean wind during the day.
The open living concept home features Hawaiian plantation style built with spacious lanais and wide overhang to capture trade wind and provide rain protection, expertly detailed construction throughout.  Every rooms are laid out to  take advantage of the amazing views and tropical breeze. Kitchen is well equipped to handle all your Chef's desire, to prepare meals after a day of island explorations. Upper Lanai is the favorite place for morning breakfast with your own cup of freshly roasted KarmaSu coffee. Separate living area on lower level with screened lanai are designed for multi family use, meditation or yoga.  For our guests enjoyment, we take great care to maintain the landscaping of lush lawn, exotic flowers and edible tropical fruits. Hale KarmaSu is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all that the Big Island has to offer.

REVIEWS

The coffee farm was amazing! The house was even more amazing. It was spacious, with windows everywhere! There was a view at every window. Downstairs you can see lush tropical gardens, and upstairs you get a view of the Pacific! Both up and downstairs have incredible porches with the coolest reclining chairs. Napping out there is a must, it’s so peaceful. The kitchen was wonderful, with every appliance one could ever need, and for the nights where we didn’t feel like cooking, we were only 10 minutes from town. As well as the airport, and since we arrived at 9 pm we were glad it was so close. In fact you can see the airplanes take off and it really is cool. The property was very well maintained, and had so many fruit, and avacodo trees. Must try the avacodo, so thick and creamy. Unlike any avo I have ever eaten!! The property also had all the beach gear you will need. Umbrellas, beach towels, beach chairs, hiking poles, body boards, snorkel gear, fins, etc. it was perfect because you’re probably not going to be able to take that all on the plane with you, and who wants to buy all that in Hawaii and then have to leave it? it was soooo quiet and peaceful at night with just as amazing a view on Mauna Kea. I love how close it was to so much! But at the end of the day you got to go out to your own private coffee farm. We are already planning our next trip back to Hawaii and we will definitely be staying at Hale Karma!!
